Jaqua products always feel and look like guilty little pleasures. The packaging, with its swirly, heart-shaped motifs, is always ultra girly (in a very Elle Woods kind of way) -- for some reason, the whimsically designed boxes, tubes and cases always make me think of Candyland board games and Christmas gingerbread candy houses with tons of gumdrops and creamy frosting (I sound like Will Ferrell in Elf, but you catch my drift..). And the flavors always allude to yummy treats -- from pink champagne to piña colada to peach parfait. Which is why I was swooning when I first heard about their new Raspberry Buttercream Frosting collection of hand creams, shower gels, body butters and lip glosses. See, there's no reason why our beauty routines can't be fun! We may want to have smooth, soft hands and kissable lips, but we don't want to feel like we're putting in all this work to get results. How can you look at this picture and not want to try Jaqua Beauty's new Raspberry Buttercream Frosting collection? I seriously just want to take a huge bite out of that cake, and then finish off by eating all of the raspberries. Yum! Like all of the previous Buttercream flavors, Raspberry Buttercream is rich and delicious - to me, the raspberry scent is a little stronger than the frosting, but whatever the ratio is, it totally works. It's slightly sweet, but a little tart as well. It's the perfect blend of fruit and cream - it might actually be my favorite of the Buttercream flavors because of the balance. I had the guilty pleasure of trying out some of Jaqua Beauty's skin care products this week and can't get over just how sweet and realistic they smell. Their top-seller, Buttercream Frosting,(compare prices) is loved by loads of celebrities, and after giving it a try, I know why. It smells exactly like frosting. And they don't stop with regular buttercream, they have a Cocoa and Raspberry Buttercream Frosting line as well. Jaqua Peach Bellini Shower Creme ($18 at jaquabeauty.com): Some people may be hard-pressed to name their favorite drink. I'm not -- it's a peach Bellini, hands down. There's just something so deliciously exotic about it. So when Jaqua introduced this body wash, I was totally on board. Luckily, it did not disappoint!
